Luz y lienzo subasta de arte benéfica para el Ecomuseo Biblioteca
La subasta benéfica Luz y lienzo, organizada por Fundación FIDAL en apoyo a su más reciente proyecto, el primer Ecomuseo Biblioteca del país, se realizó en la Sala Buenaventura, en el emblemático barrio de La Mariscal, en Quito.
Este evento artístico reunió a grandes talentos nacionales y se convirtió en un acto de compromiso social. Gracias a la generosa participación de reconocidos artistas y fotógrafos, se subastaron 50 obras -entre pinturas, esculturas, fotografías y ensamblajes- destinadas a recaudar fondos para hacer realidad este innovador espacio educativo. Más de 100 personas se dieron cita para apoyar la causa, entre ellas figuras del arte como Miguel Betancourt, Omar Palomeque, Alba Erazo, Ana Piyahuaje, Rosy Revelo, José Bastidas, Fernando Manríquez, Patricio Estévez, Clara Pérez, Elizabeth Taipe, Silvia Carrillo, Ramón Burneo, así como embajadores, empresarios y ciudadanos comprometidos.
El Ecomuseo Biblioteca será mucho más que un lugar físico: será un centro educativo, interactivo y sostenible que fomentará la conservación del patrimonio cultural, el respeto por el ambiente y el fortalecimiento del tejido social. Ubicado en el Centro Histórico de Quito, este espacio busca involucrar a estudiantes, docentes, investigadores y vecinos en experiencias colaborativas, multisensoriales e innovadoras, que motiven la reflexión crítica y el aprendizaje significativo.
Esta propuesta de transformación social beneficiará directamente a 97 instituciones educativas del Centro Histórico, impactando a más de 30.000 estudiantes. Es una apuesta por la educación como motor de cambio, y por el arte como catalizador de esperanza.
Gracias a Luz y lienzo, Fundación FIDAL ha dado un paso firme hacia la apertura de este sueño colectivo. La subasta fue testimonio del poder del arte para movilizar voluntades y construir un futuro más justo, consciente y sostenible.
