Rosalía Arteaga es recibida como Miembro Honoraria de la Academia Nacional de Historia del Ecuador

En una ceremonia solemne, la Academia Nacional de Historia del Ecuador (ANH) incorporó como Miembro Honorario a la Dra. Rosalía Arteaga Serrano, expresidenta Constitucional de la República y destacada intelectual ecuatoriana.
El evento tuvo lugar en el auditorio Manuel de Guzmán Polanco y contó con una nutrida asistencia de académicos, historiadores y personalidades del ámbito cultural y educativo. La bienvenida estuvo a cargo del Dr. César Alarcón Costta, director de la Academia, quien destacó la trayectoria y aportes de la Dra. Rosalía Arteaga en los campos de la educación, la ética y la sociedad.
Como parte de la ceremonia, la homenajeada presentó la ponencia titulada “Ética, Educación Superior y Sociedad. Una mirada desde lo glocal”, la cual recibió elogios por su profundidad y relevancia. Posteriormente, la Dra. América Ibarra Parra, subdirectora de la ANH, ofreció el brindis en honor a la nueva académica.
El reconocimiento incluyó la entrega del diploma, la medalla institucional y la escarapela de la Academia, impuesta por la Dra. Ibarra Parra.
La Dra. Arteaga Serrano cuenta con una destacada trayectoria nacional e internacional en educación, diplomacia y liderazgo. Actualmente, es presidenta ejecutiva de la Fundación FIDAL y ha sido distinguida con múltiples condecoraciones y doctorados honoris causa en diversas universidades alrededor del mundo.
Este nombramiento representa un reconocimiento a su incansable labor en la promoción del conocimiento, la historia y la educación en Ecuador y a nivel global.
